10 Amazon Finds For Traveling The World!

If you are looking to take a short term or long term trip and want to make sure you don't forget to pack anything, these are some great Amazon products that I own and would recommend to make your traveling and packing process more convenient. This includes the top 10 things I packed going to a place where I was met with harsh winters, and brutally hot summers.

1. This Microfiber Travel Towel from Amazon is lightweight, compact, and comes in many colors and sizes. So it has been great for travel as it dries fast, and allows me to have more space in my luggage to pack other things.

2. Having a Good Pair Of Sunglasses is always a important staple to pack. These ones have been a great find for a great price!

3. This Kenneth Cole 28in Suitcase has been traveling the world with me for awhile now. I like how it is lightweight and has a zipper compartment on one side.

4. If you are visiting a part of the world where the water is maybe a bit questionable to drink, and you go the bottled water jug route, this Portable Water Dispenser has come to be a great convenience. It does need to be charged though after about 1-2 weeks use so keep this in mind depending on where you will be traveling to.

5. If you are camping, or are just visiting a part of the world where the drinking water can be contaminated, I discovered this Lifestraw Water Bottle Filter after my second time of getting giardia. I was a bit scared to try it at first, (not wanting to go through giardia a third time,) but I was relieved to find that it works!

6. This is another great "must-have" if you are camping, or if you just have an old phone with a bad battery life-- like mine. I always keep the Anker Portable Battery Charger on me and it holds 4 battery charges.

7. This Luggage Weight Scale has been such a stress reliever for me as someone who always seems to get as close to the airline weight limit as possible.

8. A good, reliable hammock is always a good thing to pack if you plan on being outdoors a lot or doing a lot of hiking. I have had my Kootek Hammock since 2019 and it has traveled the world with me and seen its fair share of beautiful views.

9. Along with having checked baggage, having a nice large Carry-On Size Backpack With Organizing Cubes has been great in helping me organize the things I need to put in my carry on luggage. In this backpack, I was able to fit all of my medications and compact toiletries, a days worth of clothes, my laptop, camera + accessories, chargers, and more. It was great to have everything organized so that I could quickly take things for airport security and re-pack it quickly after.

10. Being from Minnesota, I know how important it is to have a warm coat. This Eddie Bauer Winter Jacket has been the warmest coat I have ever owned. It is long and puffy, so it might take up a bit of space in checked luggage if not compressed, but if you are going somewhere where there could be extremely cold temperatures, I would recommend this. It comes in a few colors and for me was true to size. Honestly I didn't pack this in my checked baggage-- I wore it on the plane.

I hope these 10 things can be helpful for you in planning your next travel excursion. Is there something else that didn't make my list that is an essential for you in traveling?
